Hi there! I’m Claudia, Oslo-based yoga teacher, health coach and reiki practitioner.

I teach studio and corporate classes in Oslo, offer online and face-to-face health coaching, and offer reiki sessions here in Oslo. I’m the co-founder of Sanga Yoga, the space for prenatal yoga and mother-baby yoga in Oslo.

I grew up in the Netherlands and found yoga in Amsterdam, many years ago. Yoga wasn't very popular yet, but I fell madly in love. I loved that I felt soft and calm after every class. I loved moving my whole body, I loved those 90 minutes of peace and quiet, and I loved exploring my body and mind in a totally different way. To me, yoga is still that. It's what gives me both energy and stillness, it gives me confidence and pride, it helps me ease anxiety and feel at home in my body. It helps me be me.

I left my home country in 2011 to travel the world – a journey that took me and my husband to the highest mountains and most beautiful beaches, hectic cities and quiet little villages, and amazing yoga teachers. 

After a year on the road we moved to Oslo, Norway, where I now mainly teach women, especially mother baby yoga, with our classes at Sanga Yoga. Sanga Yoga is Oslo yoga sanctuary for women, which I founded together with my yoga partner Theresa.

I’m also a holistic health coach, helping women find peace and joy in their own bodies.

When I work with women, we focus on their uniqueness, and together we find the right approach. I specialize in hormonal health, fertility and body acceptance, and I'm passionate about supporting mothers and women on their way to becoming mothers. 

Reiki is such a beautiful addition to all of this. I use it during yoga and coaching, but also offer private reiki sessions at your home or our studio.

I always thought that yoga wasn’t for me, because I prefer a rather hard workout and getting sweaty instead. But when I got pregnant I started to have problems with my back. Now I have quite a big baby boy, which is a challenge for my body. Then I decided to try something new. From the first class, I felt surprisingly good. The tension in my back and the tight muscles went away, and I felt more relaxed. I enjoyed spending time with my baby and doing something for my self at the same time. I highly recommend yoga led by Claudia. :)
